AubGreen Collective And D-Block Connect For Remix Vid
With the Fifa World Cup storming the shores of Brazil this month all eyes are on the country’s second largest city for all the right reasons as the city plays host to the World Cup finals; with the sports spotlight shining on the more recreational aspects of Rio De Janeiro, it’s the beautiful city’s dark underbelly that serves as inspiration for Apollo The Great‘s single “Rio De Janeiro”.
With the single making waves on radio and his recent video releases consistently premiering on MTV Jams , Apollo follows up the momentum with the “Rio (Remix)”, a trunk-rattling reprise featuring D-Block frontman Jadakiss.
In the striking visual the two emcees trade bars in the middle of the hood as interspersing news clips detail the striking similarities between Rio’s gully side and the crime ridden streets of Apollo’s native Camden, NJ.
