Keke Palmer lends her voice to the generation
On the premiere episode of her talk show Just KeKe, actress KeKe Palmer steps away from Hollywood as she leads the voice of her generation. She shares this moment with her family and friends from home.
She brought up the topic on of Chris Brown hit song, “Loyal” and she asks the question, Do you think there’s a double standard when it comes to loyalty in a relationship? And she asks some members of her audience, they responded. Some of the members think that there is a double while others think there’s not.
But she had a little fun as she revealed her celebrity crushes which were Kevin Hart, Floyd Mayweather, and Michael Ealy. She said that Hart is her number three crush because he has a sense of humor; Mayweather is her number two crush because he’s ambitious, and Ealy as her ultimate crush because he’s just plain sexy. She revealed that they worked together on the movie Barbershop 2. Ealy surprised her by giving her flowers and Hart facetime Palmer to congratulate her on the talk show. She even had a hip hop cypher between two rap groups from LA.
While watching the show, Keke empower young women to be themselves and that’s what I liked about Palmer. I would rate her show a 10 because it relates to a lot of young women today and I’m pretty sure that young women don’t want to hear an opinion of a woman in her 30’s or 40’s. This is one show that is not your parents’ talk show.
