Jennifer Hudson finally chose a title for upcoming third album
Singer Jennifer Hudson stopped by WPGC 95.5 in Washington, D.C. and announced the title for her upcoming third album that is short and sweet, JHUD. The album is a follow up to her sophomore album, I Remember Me. The album features production by Pharrell Williams and Timbaland.
The concept of the new album is a 70’s inspired and on Sunday, she performed her new single, It’s Your World” featuring R.Kelly at the BET Awards. So far, she released two singles from the album, “Walk It Out” and “I Can’t Describe (The Way I Feel)” featuring T.I.
Here is what she said about her growth musically and personally:
“It’s different expressions of me as an artist, a girl, a music lover,” she said of the personal project, which is a reflection of the woman she has become in the past three years.
The album is set to release in mid-August and so far it seems like going to be a smash on the charts
