Detroit-bred rapper/songwriter/guitarist/producer Chris Jones a.k.a. Jonezen is the 2013 Los Angeles Music Awards winner for Hip Hop Artist of the Year and nominated for the 2014 LA Music Awards for Hip Hop Artist of the Year and Solo Performer of the Year.
2014 has been a break-through year for Jonezen who has performed all over the west coast, at SXSW and the Speak Your Mind Hip Hop Festival, along side Blackalicious, The Alkaholiks, licensed material for use in TV and film, performed live not he Janice Dickinson Talk Show, and had a small roll in the upcoming Jamie Kennedy movie Buddy Hitchins.
