Ja joins in on the story-telling
About 2 months ago, 50 Cent went on a brutal press run, in which he called out just about everyone that he didn’t see eye-to-eye with in the past, including members of his own team, G-Unit, with whom Fif would later reconcile and re-unite with. Ja Rule was one of those people, and in a portion of his book, Ja describes a side of the Ja Rule/50 Cent saga we probably wouldn’t hear out of 50’s mouth. Rule allegedly beat down 50 with a bat in Atlanta while Fif’s crew stood by and did nothing back in 2000.
Today on Hot 97, Ja Rule went into detail during a conversation with Ebro and the rest of the Hot 97 morning team about the incident, and described it in detail. Apparently, Rule just happened to have a small bat slung around his neck–he later alluded to the fact that it was merely a prop for an upcoming performance–and he and his crew proceeded to beat 50 Cent down with the bat while the rest of his crew stood by and did nothing. He also added some perspective to the comments 50 made while he was on the Power 106 morning show in L.A., and you can watch the full interview below.
