In his first show in New York City–in Brooklyn, to be exact–Jay Electronica made sure no one would ever forget July 12th. After running through a slew of his classics (“Exhibit A”, “Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind”, “Just Begun”), Jay Electronica brought out the man who signed him 4 years ago, Jay Z. After instructing the crowd to keep their hands in the air–“Keep those diamonds high in the sky!”–Jay Z waltzed out to perform “Young, Black & Gifted”, before getting into he and Elec’s latest collaboration, the remix to Drake‘s “We Made It”.
