This is going to be the one, for the summer, in New York
Bobby Shmurda has already become one of the biggest “things” in hip-hop music, between his dance, his buzzing re-make of Lloyd Banks‘ “Jackpot”, “Hot N***a”, and the GS9 he, his close friend Rowdy Rebel–who also has a fair buzz of his own–and the rest of his crew are spreading like the plague in New York City, Shmurda’s got a lot going for himself, and nearly every prominent hip-hop media outlet has taken notice, including us.
French Montana came up similarly to Bobby, using his Coke Boys street team and DVD movement to create a buzz so strong, that despite the abysmal performance of his debut album, Excuse My French, on the charts last summer, French is still one of the most prominent names in New York, and on the mainstream hip-hop scene as a whole. The above video features Bobby Shmurda and Rowdy Rebel Shmoney dancing to French’s verse on the remix to “Hot N***a”, and just from the 15-second clip, we can tell how much fun this remix is going to be.
