A father catches an 18-year-old in the act of sexually abusing his 11-year-old son.
You can almost image what a Daytona, Florida father was feeling when he returned home on Friday at 1 a.m. to catch a man he trusted sexually abusing his son. He reacted instantly and beat 18-year-old Raymond Frolander unconscious before calling the police. When Daytona police arrived, Frolander was lying motionless on the living room floor. He had several knots on his head and face and was bleeding from his mouth. The father learned that his son was being sexually abused by Frolander for three years. Frolander is charged with sexual battery on a child under 12 and is being held without bail.According to the arrest affidavit, Frolander admitted to the abuse. The father has not been charged.
“Dad was acting like a dad. I don’t see anything we should charge the dad with,” Daytona Beach Police Chief Mike Chitwood said. “You have an 18-year-old who has clearly picked his target, groomed his target and had sex with the victim multiple times.”
