Indigo Child takes you on a journey..
Rising ATL artist, Raury, has captured the attention of many with music releases such as “God’s Whisper” and more recently “The Cigarette Song”. His young free spirt is captivating and directly reflects through his music.
Last week I was able to be a part of Raury’s listening session for his newly released project Indigo Child. The event was very intimate, showcasing Raury’s quirky personality and allowing people to get detailed insight on almost every track from the LP. Each song has a concept and a truthful story behind it that inspired this young artist to be very transparent throughout the session as well as in his project. In addition, the project includes skits of Raury’s mother arguing with him and being a parent which we can all relate to.
Raury’s refreshing spirit is felt throughout all 13 tracks of Indigo Child. This alternative/folk/hip hop album contains guitar solos, features international artists from Australia, production from Raury, and a 7 min track sure to blow your mind. Overall, Indigo Child is conceptual project that shows off Raury’s personality, talent and personal story. You can stream Indigo Child HERE.
