There’s a difference between respect and fear. If you didn’t know already, you gon’ learn today. After posting up Ricky Dubs’ last track with Mick Jenkins and YC The Cynic, I was presented with the opportunity to premiere this new one. How could I say no? The electric guitar cries its heart out at the whim of producer Ricky Dubs, while Roc and Knowledge give you a tutorial on how to be the man on the block and command respect. For the naive, it’s easier said than done but you have to earn the right to even say it. This is what Hip-Hop should sound like–you can’t help but picture every word while you rock out to the beat.
