Jhene Aiko faces the pressure in new video
Jhene Aiko released the visual for her new single, “The Pressure”. The concept of the song is about the pressures of being in a relationship, and these days, she’s apparently rocking a new look with blonde dreads. The video, it chronicles some of the pressure that she has had to face from being a little girl in LA to being in the music industry, to being a single mother.
The video also features an cameo appearance by Aiko’s daughter, Namiko. The single is off her Def Jam debut album, Souled Out that will be in stores & online next Tuesday September 9th. Currently, the singer is on the “King Of The Fall” tour with fellow LA native/rapper Schoolboy Q & The Weeknd and is set to perform for the 30th anniversary Def Jam concert taking place at Barclays Center in October.
