What’s the hold up?

J. Cole was one of the first people to co-sign Chance The Rapper, and a few months back, Chance revealed a record they had done called “Thotty” on Tony Touch radio, and provided a preview of it. While he didn’t announce then that the track features J. Cole, you could hear Cole leading into his verse just before Chance cut the preview. This weekend, at Chicago’s Spark In The Park Festival, J. Cole joined Chance The Rapper on stage to provide the live rendition debut of the record, which seems to mesh the best of both rappers’ talents, and could be a pretty big record once it drops. After all, we haven’t had any new projects from either Chance or Cole since 2013, and with only one quarter left in 2014, we could use a spark from either one of these guys.
