“Gypsy” is an honest, romantic song about a relationship Atlanta-based rapper Russ has struggled with over the past 4 years. The video that was shot in Sunset Park, Brooklyn (and features Paulina Singer [http://www.paulinasinger.com] as the female lead), aims to bring the narrative to life in its purest and simplest form. To Russ, the core message is: “Be the product of your thoughts, not the product of the system.”
The dope record is one of the singles off of Russ’ self-produced June album titled Silence. That album, which was well-received around the Internet, can be streamed in full here.
