We’re literally 7 days away from the Source’s first ever, #SOURCE360 Cultural Expo. Things are heavily heating up as we gear up for three days of culture, music, festivals, concerts, activations and more! Today, our Flashback Friday is dedicated to Cleveland, Ohio group, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony who trail blazed through hip hop with songs and albums that will never go forgotten. Take a look at their 1995 hit “1st of Tha Month” which was certified Gold by RIAA for selling 500,000 copies. The track also peaked at #14 on the Billboard Hot 100 and would become the group’s first top twenty single. The track references that first of the month welfare check that has everyone feeling like a million bucks. Watch the video above.
