Back when we interviewed Mario Manningham about his return to the New York Giants, we had to ask him what some of his fave game-day songs were. While we never published his list (can’t be giving away all his secrets, now!), we recently had a chance to check out one of his personal faves, a rapper by the name of Young Trajik. The two are close–in fact, they are godbrothers–both beginning with humble roots in Warren, OH. Today, Trizzle, as he’s also known, has come along way from the humble beginnings he shared with his baller pal. He’s performed alongside Rick Ross, Juicy J, Trina, Big Sean, Twista and more, even winning critical acclaim from Def Jam VP of A&R, the elusive Lenny S.
