That awkward moment when Dre runs off with four unreleased diplomat records…
Apparently Dr. Dre has a thing were he produces songs and never releases them. This happens to be just the case for Dipset. Jim Jones sat down with Power 105.1 to discuss his new EP We Own The Night Pt.2: Memoirs Of A Hustler as well as other things. Among the topics discussed this one really seemed to stand out like a sore thumb:
“Dr. Dre has four Diplomat records right now on Dre beats,” Jones said. “In one night, he came in there, went to the studio and was like ‘I got the same studio, let’s rock.’ He put his little plug in and we did four incredible records.”
The only thing is these tracks probably won’t ever make it to the radio let alone the internet.
“I ain’t never seen that man again and he took the records,” Jones said.
Only time will tell, reports claim that these tracks were done in…wait for it…2010. Watch the full interview above.
