Vashtie hailing from the East Village wore a black tech mesh cropped top, black and white nylon patterned swim top, black tech mesh skirt and a  black and white nylon patterned swim bottom. Read our exclusive interview with Vashtie below:

How did you get involved with the show?

Well I modeled with DKNY before and I’m a part of the family, so they asked me to be a part of this, which I was definitely stoked about.

How excited were you to walk the runway?

Well you know what, up until the showtime I was super super excited and as soon as the lights came on and the music started pounding, I started shaking out of pure nervousness.

What do you love about Donna as a person?

I have always loved Donna because she’s just this powerful woman who is staking claims in the fashion industry and I love that she’s doing that. And I particularly love her love of New York and keeping true with that, staying true to the heritage of the brand and involving real New York people and a lot of their work, so I love her.

What do you love about New York’s fashion scene?

I love that it’s so eclectic. Especially in 2014, so many up and coming designers from all walks of life are being integrated and being injected into the scene so I love it, like you have Mercedes-Benz shows and then you have student shows. It’s a really good mix and a really good energy.

We also spoke with DJ and Entrepreneur Hannah Bronfman who was seated front row.

I’m really excited. This will be my first actually ever going to the show, so I’m super-pumped on it.

You also walked in the DKNY show last season. What was that like?

It was so nerve wracking, but so awesome. It’s just a glimpse into this whole world and it’s super exciting. I’m glad I had the opportunity to touch upon it, but I don’t know if it’ll happen again.

A$AP Illz was also seated in the front row. He modeled in the show last season.

How excited are you to be here today?

I’m very excited, I’m sitting front row. This is my first fashion show sitting and watching, so I’m stoked.

Speak about working with Donna.

It’s been pretty dope. I appreciate the opportunity and all the work I’ve done so far. It’s been amazing … I just look forward to the future.

What do you love about New York Fashion.

I just like to stay to true to myself and be original and do what I do and set the trend and not be part of the trend.

The always lovely Victoria Justice was seated front row. She said that this DKNY look was the first one she tried on and she loved it. Her current jam is “Ugly Heart” by G.R.L. Justice told reporters that she is now living in New York because she is filming  a new MTV show  called “Eye Candy.” She told us exclusively, “I’m so excited, I’m such a big DKNY fan and this is my first DKNY Spring show, so I can’t wait to see what they have in store.”
