About Time …
After many complications with this biopic, it is finally being aired on November 15th. Lifetime revealed on Twitter earlier today that, Aaliyah; princess of R&B will finally be aired. After Disney’s star Zendaya dropped out of the project because of all the criticism she was receiving on her role in the movie, she was replaced by Nickelodeon star Alexandra Shipp to the R&B star.
Aaliyah’s parents also fought against the making of the movie, and tried hard to not have any of the star’s music ion the film. The family thought that the film would be too small for their beloved.
