When Hip-Hop and reality TV collide
This past Saturday, on Day 2 of the #Source360 Speakers’ Summit, the “Reality TV: Pros & Cons”, took place at LIU in Brooklyn, featuring Tahiry Jose from the popular hit show, Love & Hip Hop, Po Johnson from La La Full Court Life, former video vixen Melyssa Ford from the Blood Sweat and Heels, and Karen Gravano from the show, Mob Wives.
The moderator for the panel was Simone “Boss Lady” Ameila (who previously spoke on our “International Hip-Hop” and “Pass The Mic: Women In Hip-Hop” panels). Each star shared their personal stories, in addition to why they made the decision to do reality TV, what people’s perception of them are outside of reality TV and how their lives changed dramatically.
