Today’s generation of music fans are lucky. We get to enjoy M.I.A. and her second coming, Leikeli47. Not to say that M.I.A. is even close to being done with her amazing career, but we already have the reincarnation of her spirit in a new energetic masked artist. Similar to M.I.A., Leikeli47 repeats many of her catchy lyrics over hypnotic beats that inherently make people of all ages move in inexplicable ways. She’s self made, self produced, and self sustaining, as in she’ll bring your party to life. Just watch the hectic video above.
Leikeli47 has been getting love at New York’s Fashion Week (see: Cushnie Et Ochs), as well as major EDM DJ’s like Diplo and Skrillex. I’m sure it’s a matter of time before some serious emcees reach out for a collaboration.
