Ever so often we’re granted to hear an artist’s passion through tracks of songs that most represent him or her. The year 2014 has be great to us, when it comes to music. Whether we were cold max chillin’ at a music festival, getting a reunion performance from our favorite groups, a comeback after some umpteenth years or just a new artist we can relate to, this year really showed us music is boss. Not looking to stop the great momentum stands Wave Chapelle. No, not Dave Chappelle; though his charismatic persona is just as relatable. Dropping his first mixtape, Only The Beginning (September 19 also during SOURCE360) since joining Yo Gotti‘s CMG Roster, he shows he’s ready. We first got word of Wave, via CMG compilation mixtape Chapter 1 bringing a free spirit type of vibe. Bass booming and next thing you know a new voice came through the speakers.  Think grinding but not trapping in the street rather life and dedication to making something impactful and meaningful.

The Milwaukee native brings the wave (pun intended) his way. Not all about the brands, Wave counts his favorite spots as thrifts shops and vintage pieces. His favorites are none other than Gotti, collaborations with Chicago’s Asaad, touring with Currensy  you can see he’s a mixture of everything that’s consistently popular. Hunger and passion is apparent, what’s next we’ll be on the lookout but for now, check out Only The Beginning here for some new thrills.
