The premiere marked the opening night for the prestigious New York Film Festival, which also kicks off Oscar season. Lincoln Center was abuzz as there were nine screenings of the 20th Century Fox and David Fincher directed project. Notables in attendance included Fincher, stars Ben Affleck, Rosamund Pike, Neil Patrick Harris, Tyler Perry, our favorite “Blurred Lines” model Emily Ratajkowski, and producer Reese Witherspoon. The evening was presented by Gucci, which dressed both Affleck and Fincher.

The screenplay was written by Gillian Flynn, who also wrote the best-selling novel “Gone Girl,” which is a mystery thriller that documents the disappearance of Nick Dunne’s (Affleck) wife Amy (Pike).  Everyone came out of the various screenings in amazement and awe. “Gone Girl” is definitely a winner.
