We’re almost a full 2 months removed from the tragic–and still unjustified–events that took the life of Michael Brown in broad daylight on the streets of Ferguson, Missouri, and it doesn’t appear that the chaos and unsettling incidents that continually occur in the small St. Louis town are close to over. News broke overnight that two officers shot at last night, and one was struck in the arm. The shot officer is currently recovering in the hospital, and no major injuries have been reported from the scene of the officer whose car was shot at.

According to the Ferguson PD, the first incident occurred when an officer was investigating a suspicious man standing behind a community center, and after the man was confronted, he fired at the officer–who was in pursuit after the confronted individual began running. The following incident involved an off-duty cop, who was driving on the freeway when a random car pulled up beside him and began firing rounds into his vehicle. Luckily for him, he wasn’t hit.
