We’ve been seeing a steady of stream of socially conscious hip hop as of late (yay!), and 2FIC and Mittchy Mitch are the latest rappers to drop bars for a cause.  Their latest record, “A.I.D.,” is dedicated to raising awareness of the deadly Ebola virus.  While I can’t say I’m a huge fan of the hook–“Tell me what you gonna do, when Ebola come for you”–because I’m actively hoping none of us contract it, and it’s soon eradicated–it’s a well-written, solid track that simultaneously raises awareness, and proves to be a pleasant listening experience as well.
