This is a story about a man’s, Doc Sportello to be exact, ex old-lady who decides to show up out of the blue telling a story about her new billionaire boyfriend and a plot by her boyfriend’s wife and his wife’s secret boyfriend to kidnap the millionaire and put him in a “looney bin” so that they could take all of his fortune. If you’re confused and had to read that sentence again a few times, it’s totally okay because that’s what makes this whole story so much fun, but check out the trailer just to clear things up.  With a plot about a gold digging woman trying to get rid of her husband in the most non lethal way possible and with a star lineup featuring characters ranging from surfers, hustlers, dopers, detectives, and even a mysterious figure known as the Golden Fang, what could possibly go wrong?  The answer to that question is nothing.  Nothing could possibly go wrong.  “Inherent Vice” hits theaters December 12.
