To commemorate Pimp C‘s contributions and massive impact on the world of music by creating terms like “trill”, “smoke somethin’,” and “riding dirty”. Mass Appeal is presenting a tribute show to the legendary rap icon hosted by fellow UGK member Bun B. It will be held on October 11 on A3C’s Main Stage, the show will feature all-star performances followed by an interactive panel highlighting Pimp C’s impact on modern music and American culture.
Pimp C’s new album is also on the way. There is no set date when but it will be released by Mass Appeal Records and the Estate of Pimp C. This will be the final album featuring all new music by the legend. Word around town is Pimp C’s long time friend and collaborator Juicy J will also have multiple productions on the album whilst being featured on several key tracks.
