The SOURCE360 Concert at the Barclays Center included some of hip-hop’s greatest acts, but there was only one group who was repping Uptown in a way that only they could. The Diplomats came through and shut. It. Down. And no one predicted it better than the rappers themselves.
Before the concert senior writer Sha Be Allah sat down with one half of the infamous Harlem group to discuss their performance, their reunion and what we can expect from them. “It’s Dipset- that’s it. We’re bringing us,” stated Juelz Santana when asked about their then-upcoming performance. Freekey Zekey added his usual eccentric two cents, ready to bring back their “Harlem bangers” to the Brooklyn stage. The two even hinted that Diplomatic Immunity 3 may be on the way, something we’ve all been waiting on for quite some time. Watch the two of them chat it up in the lively interview above.
