There’s no denying that New York City has bred a plethora of artists, most notably musicians. Queens native Jon Lewis is one of these many artists, determined to break through on his own terms and break the mold. Now under the guidance of a newly formed indie record label, Supreme Legacy Entertainment (SLE), the singer/songwriter/producer released his first venture, “Leaving With Me,” featuring label mate B Steels. The fusion of R&B and hip hop is nothing new, but Steels and Lewis put a modern twist on the track, with a smoothly hypnotic flow and delivery.
