Roy let’s his vocals explode “like the bombs over Baghdad”
T-Dot native Roy Wood$, fresh off the release of his recent single “I Got” returns with another single entitled “Murda”. He gets assistance from his hometown fellow artist Sha Hustle of Reps Up and Dej Loaf. The 18 year old takes everyone by surprise with this trio collaboration which is off his upcoming EP Exis. On “I Got” Roy bravely displayed his singing vocals along with a glimpse of his mature rapping ability. “Murda” is no different.
Sha Hustle sets the tone right with him spitting some bullett-ridden lyrics. Detroit’s newest star Dej takes the second round coming in with her sweet voice and hard-body verse setting the mood for Roy who showcases his singing rapping style that seems to be turning into his signature sound. This cold track makes us wonder what other surprises he has stored for his fans for the remainder of 2014. After this release definitely be on the look out for his Exis EP.
