This wasn’t a good idea, Kurt

An Alabama football player, Kurt Freitag, was caught with 112 grams of weed in his dorm room, along with over $4,000 in cash, suggesting he was doing a lot more than getting high before practice. Freitag, a resident of the Bryant Hall dorm facility on UoA’s campus, was followed by authorities after someone tipped them off about a drug transaction set to go down outside Bryant Hall. Freitag unknowingly led law enforcement straight to his dorm room, which is where the drugs and money was found, and he was subsequently arrested.

Details on the investigation after that point are cloudy. There hasn’t been any news of Freitag being officially charged, and the university has remained mum on the topic, presumably until concrete details released and charges are filed. One thing’s for sure, he more than likely won’t be playing for Nick Saban, or anyone else for that matter, any time soon.
