Although we continue to think of NYC as the birth place and breeding ground of hip hop, rapper Noetic, who recently relocated to Washington D.C. in 2012, is determined to change that perception.  The son of a prominent 1980s rapper, the poetic lyricist’s sound is influenced by his home state, forever ingraining the gritty sounds of the cityscape in his brain–and his music.  Listen to his latest record, “I’m Sorry,” featuring Jeremy Dreaux, and tell us what you think.  Sound off below.
