Heidi Klum threw another fabulous Halloween soirée.
It’s hard to believe that Heidi Klum has hosted this party for 15 years! Each year it has gotten better and better. A bevy of musicans, fashionistas and actors attended her party at Tao Downtown on Friday, October 31. Singer Ashanti looked fabulous as an Belly Dancer. Actor Eric West was one of the best dressed guys of the night as a DJ. His shirt featured Janet Jackson and Prince album covers. Lolawolf frontwoman Zoe Kravitz was dressed as a nun. She was spotted hanging with her friend Joe Jonas and later headed up to to the DJ booth to say hi to her friend Questlove. Singer Elle Varner was dressed as Strawbery Shortcake. She was spotted with her friend Chef Roble, who was dressed as a baby. Ice T and his wife Coco always attend this party and looked like they were having a blast. Some of our favorite “Orange Is The New Black” cast members Laverne Cox, Jackie Cruz, Diane Guerrero and Matt McGorry were in attendance.
We also spotted mogul Russell Simmons at the party. From the fashion world Joe Zee, Lindsay Ellingson, Richard Chai, Christian Siriano, The Blonds and Chris March walked the red carpet. Soon Heidi Klum made her grand entrance. She had just been in Times Square to give people a sneak peak of the costume. Heidi was a butterfly this year. It was one of the coolest butterfly costumes we had ever seen. She was joined by her boyfriend Vito Schnabel, his sister artist and filmmaker Lola Schnabel and their father Julian Schnabel, who we just saw this week at the debut screening of “Empire.” The party went until the early hours of Saturday morning and did not disappoint. Svedka Vodka was on hand serving specialty cocktails including The Ringmaster’s Revenge, The Chic Freak and The Sideshow Spectacular. The party was also presented by the Moto X phone, which gifted Heidi with a customized phone to match her costume.
Also out and about in New York was Rihanna who partied with a few of her best friends. She was a Ninja Turtle. Angela Simmons and Skylar Diggins joined their friend Va$htie at the Maserati and Gotham Magazine’s “A Night To Die For” party sponsored by Star Vodka.
