Last night, Freddie Gibbs performed live at Rough Trade, a venue in Brooklyn, and his experience following the show was less than favorable, to say the least. A lone gunmen fired several shots at Gibbs and his entourage following the concert, and although Gibbs was able to escape without injury, a couple of his bodyguards suffered minor injuries and had to be taken to Bellevue, where they’re currently in stable condition.

Following the incident, Gibbs took to Instagram to confirm with his fans and followers that he was physically okay with the following picture.

According to the NY Post, an investigator told Gibbs: “He [the shooter] was standing around you guys all night. He was stalking you guys. We can tell on camera, he wanted it to look like he knew you, but it’s clear he didn’t. When you guys left, he was waiting for you outside.”
