T-Pain‘s getting ready to release his new album, Stoicville: The Phoenix, next year, and in case you haven’t heard the song, or seen him perform auto-tune free for NPR darn near flawlessly, we’re here to tell you that T-Pain has re-arrived in a big way. He admittedly didn’t achieve what he’d hoped to with his last release, but the Tallahassee, Florida native remains undeterred in his quest to retain his title as one of the most sure-fire hit-makers and heralded song-writers in the game. With that quest, comes the official video for his latest release, the Stoicville title track, and it’s our request that you direct your full-attention to this video, which clocks in at just under 7 minutes. The insightful, and autobiographical video takes you through T-Pain’s trials and tribulations–as does the record–with suspense and candor, from dread-headed hook writer for Kanye West to the singer struggling to sell records. Regardless of how you felt about Teddy prior to watching this, there’s a good chance you find yourself rooting for him by night’s end.
