We all know Russell Westbrook has style, and now you can too!
On November 6, 2014, JackThreads announced its collaboration with Westbrook Frames, the eyewear collection by Oklahoma City Thunder’s superstar Russell Westbrook. “The Westbrook Frames Silver Series for JackThreads” will be available for pre-order beginning November 11th on Thrillist, JackThreads, and Supercompressor. “The Westbrook Frames Silver Series for JackThreads” will showcase the bold, sleek, yet approachable style that Russell Westbrook has. The collection will contain four unique frames designed by Russell and the team at JackThreads in three different colors and will be named California, Oklahoma, New York, and Florida. All the frames in this collection will be under $100.
In anticipation of the launch, a “shot clock” will be housed on JackThreads.com which will be counting down to the second until the frames go on sale. In addition, Westbrook will be featured on the cover of JackThreads Holiday Lookbook and JackThreads will be running a contest on Instagram where users can post a photo or video tossing their old shades with the hashtag #throwshades for the chance to win a pair of their new frames and $500 to spend at JackThreads. Thrillist Media Group will also host a special event with Westbrook during the 2015 NBA All Star weekend in New York City.
