The best part about the Odd Future carnival, at least for 23-year old Tyler, The Creator, was Pharrell being joined by the rest of N.E.R.D. for performances of several of their biggest records, including “Rock Star,” which made Tyler cry as he watched from the press pit. His love for Pharrell and N.E.R.D. has been documented well through the years, and what happened after Skateboard and company’s performance was probably something Tyler will never forget. In the above clip, Pharrell fields interview questions from a clearly awestruck Tyler, The Creator, and hits him with a piece of perspective that’ll surely leave an impression on all involved.
