This unfortunate plot thickens

Tragedy struck a married couple early Sunday morning on the platform of the B/D train at 167th Street when a woman’s husband fell on the tracks and got fatally hit by an oncoming train. What was initially chalked up to be an unfortunate accident by police, is no longer an accident. Wai Kuen Kwok, a 61-year old Bronx man traveling to Chinatown with his wife for breakfast, was pushed by a yet-to-be-identified man, despite no witness coming forward and saying the two engaged in any sort of altercation or disagreement.

As unsettling as it sounds, it appears Kwok was killed by someone he’d never met, for, quite possibly, no reason at all. After Kwok fell to his death, his wife–who doesn’t know much English–began to scream “push!” repeatedly, trying to bring to attention that her husband did not commit suicide, nor did he slip and fall to his demise.

In the above video, a man is seen leaving the train station at which the crime was committed, smoking a cigarette and hopping a ride on an MTA bus before he disappears from view, and authorities say the man in the video is the man witnesses are fingering for the horrific crime.
