Lately, it has been an emotional roller coaster for one of America’s intriguing role models, Bill Cosby. The powerful figure, who is known to play the smooth, laid back character, also known as “Cliff Huxtable” on The Cosby Show, has been under a lot of media scrutiny as random rape allegations have been tarnishing the Temple grad’s reputation. Today a famous figure has come out to the world to join the list of females who have claimed they were rape victims of The Cosby Show star. Model and TV personality Janice Dickinson expressed one of her darkest experiences to Entertainment Tonight as she gives her testimony of what occurred the night she was raped by Mr. Cosby. Dickinson told the TV network that Cosby reached out to her and offered her a plane flight to Lake Tahoe, Bill’s residence at the time. She mentioned when the two of them linked up and had dinner, Bill gave her a glass of wine and a strange pill which she thought was a painkiller. She continues her story by being quoted

The next morning I woke up and I wasn’t wearing my pajamas, and I remember before I passed out that I had been sexually assaulted by this man. Before I woke up in the morning, the last thing I remember was Bill Cosby in a patchwork robe, dropping his robe and getting on top of me. And I remember a lot of pain. The next morning I remember waking up with my pajamas off and there was semen in between my legs.”

Janice never confronted Bill about the incident, until 2002 when she attempted to write about the situation in her autobiography; but, she was forced to pull the story from the project. Janice added that she was pressured by Cosby’s legal team and publisher, HarperCollins. As more females are slowly coming out the woodworks to expose the comedian/activist, Bill has been displaying little to no attempt of fighting back in regards to the rape allegations. Interview after interview, TV appearance after TV appearance, the Television Hall Of Fame inductee has been dodging questions by just ignoring them and continuing to proceed with his initial purpose at hand. As accurate as the allegations may be, it’s safe to say that the image of the great one we once idolized has been tarnished. It’s sad that a legend of his statue falls along the laundry list of celebs and athletes who are being viewed as examples of what not to do as far as interacting with female counterparts. Another one bites the dust and it’s looking like he will be reaping the damage that was done.

Decide that you want it more than you are afraid of it.” A famous quote the legend himself came out and said. Too bad he forced it more heavily than the actual influence of those powerful words.
