Waka steals the show while the show is off
Last night, the American Music Awards aired on ABC, and by the time Iggy Azalea beat out Drake and Eminem for Best Rap Album, had pretty much flipped two channels down where New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. was making gravity-defying catches. Those that hadn’t completely given up on the AMAs were blessed with a 30-second TV promo for Pine Bros cough drops, starring none other than Waka Flocka Flame. As if that doesn’t sound like enough of a reason to press play, Pine Bros alluded to the reason Waka would need throat lozenges with one of the more blatantly hilarious innuendos you’ll ever see on live television. See for yourself above, and be honest. If you had to choose between the store brand and Pine Bros, wouldn’t this commercial play in your head?
