Ralph Lauren has planted a firm flag in the clothing industry, with an illustrious and fruitful history. Now the fashion icon will add another pillar to the his brand with his upcoming restaurant,  “The Polo Bar”.

The Polo Bar will be located on Fifth Avenue, walking distance from the brand’s flagship location. The New York Times got an exclusive look at the the upcoming restaurant, which looks exactly as expensive and spiffy as you’d expect a Ralph Lauren restaurant to look. Described as having a “clubhouse” feel with its “amber light and dense with equestrian paintings and trophies”, the restaurant’s menu will feature crab cakes, corned beef sandwiches and steaks, the latter of which will be “produced, when availability allows for it, on Mr. Lauren’s 17,000-acre cattle ranch in Colorado.”
