It’s a big week for the Bompton native

YG‘s My Krazy Life has been hailed as the 2014 Hip-Hop Album of the Year by critics all over the country, but when the 2015 Grammy Awards nominations were published, MKL was glaringly absent. YG was visibly upset by the snub, and he took to three different places to express his sentiments: Instagram, Twitter and the studio. The result of the third vent was “2015 Flow,” a snap session that falls just short of 3 minutes over an atypical DJ Mustard beat, for which YG has just released a video, and you can watch it above. The video is as simple as they come, but between YG’s shadowed blackout session, his trademarked dance and he and DJ Mustard throwing money in celebration of the 2014 they had, it’s not short of entertainment value.

In case you missed it, YG, DJ Mustard and their pal, Ty Dolla $ign, were named The Source‘s 2014 Men of the Year earlier today. Check out the covers here.
