Angels in the bleachers

Ryan Sturdivan, a high school basketball player at Woodland High School in Washington, did the unthinkable to help his team win a game, and it’s something not even NBA players manage to accomplish too often.

Sturdivan hit one half-court shot to end the first half of this game, which was impressive enough, considering it was actually a half-court shot, and not just a long three-pointer. However, it was what Sturdivan did two quarters later that made his performance especially special. Yes, you guessed it. Another half-court shot, this one from even farther, at the buzzer, to win the game.

Chances are, from now on, teams are going to run the full-court press on Sturdivan whether the game is on the line or not, considering his range has no ceiling.
