Westbrook and Rudy, ironically, bring the Thunder

Russell Westbrook has played at a ferocious pace since coming back from injury, and last night was pretty much a microcosm of the havoc he’s been wreaking on the teams he’s faced over the past few weeks, including the times he’s shared the floor with the reigning NBA MVP, Kevin Durant. Rudy Gay, on the other hand, has been quite disappointing during his tenure with the Kings, but something upset him last night–probably the horrible defense his teammates played all night–and he took it out on Serge Ibaka. Ironically enough, Ibaka had a whopping seven blocks last night, but this was the one that got away.

Later on in the game, Russell Westbrook tried to one-up Gay, and after successfully losing the Kings’ Ben McLemore, headed towards the rim at full speed for this tomahawk two-handed jam.

Pretty intense. Westbrook and company had the last laugh, as they held off a couple late Kings surges for the 104-92 victory.
