Nicki goes to a rare place in recent interview
The Pinkprint is out. Yes, finally. After the 12-month onslaught Nicki led on 2014, her 3rd album is out, and it’s damn good. Now that she’s got a little more time on her hands, she’s begun to open up for a few interviews and TV show appearances, one of them being a chat with Power 105.1’s crown interviewer, Angie Martinez. Nicki and Angie chat for about half an hour about several things, including Meek Mill, who Nicki should go on tour with, and dealing with fame–she even references some iconic Jay Z lyrics to describe the things being a celebrity can do to a rapper’s life–but more specifically, when the topic of her ex-boyfriend–with whom Nicki just ended a 14-year relationship–was brought up, it all came to be just a tad much for Nicki. She tried to speak, and no words came out, which is when “Part 1” of her interview ended.
