For those of you younger readers who are unfamiliar, The Temptations and  The Four Tops are two of Jazz and Motown’s legendary groups. The temps were formed in the early sixties in Detroit and were noted not only for their smooth voices, but also for their moves as presentation. As the times changed so did the The Temps message to reflect the values of the nation and their sound as they experimented with various genres and samples. The Four Tops, originally called the Four Aims released their first track in 1956, mostly known for their jazz ballads. Their first Motown hit “Baby I Need Your Loving” propelled them into fame in 1964. Both groups have since been inducted in to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
