Inside the NBA is the Emmy Award-winning pre-game, halftime, and post-game TNT show that quite often–at least during the regular season–is a better draw than the actual games they analyze and comment on. With the larger than life personalities of former NBA stars Kenny Smith, Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley firing off of each other while Ernie Johnson pretty much plays mediator, there’s no telling what’ll happen. Now, on the NBA’s biggest regular-season day, Christmas Day, naturally, these guys stepped up to the occasion.
Kenny Smith and Shaquille O’Neal were explaining the heart, physical play and grittiness that a great NBA team needs, and it quickly became apparent that words weren’t enough. They simultaneously hopped out of their chairs, and a few seconds later, it appeared they would collide behind the studio desk, but Kenny Smith had other ideas. Down goes Shaq.
