YG and DJ Mustard are…at odds?
Well, it appears not all is well in paradise. YG and DJ Mustard, two of the year’s biggest upstarts, and coincidentally, The Source‘s Men of the Year for the year 2014, sent several shots at each other on Instagram earlier today as part of an apparent money dispute. The original jab came from DJ Mustard, and while it is nowhere to be found on his Twitter, YG managed to catch a screenshot of it, and commented rather brashly on his IG.
Naturally, DJ Mustard responded, because West Coast.
Then, YG got impatient.
The fact that Mustard mentioned “this isn’t the first time” probably means this is the type of argument and/or fight that has happened before, and as close friends always do, they recovered. However, if DJ Mustard’s biggest beef is that he was never paid for the work he did on YG’s My Krazy Life album–which, to his credit, was very significant–his beef would be with Def Jam, no?
