Season 6 is finally here. How are you guys feeling?

King Bach: We are ready for the viewers to see it and let it play so they can have fun with it.

Tim DeLaGhetto: We got a lot of interesting episodes this season. We have a ‘’Pajama” episode which is pretty funny and we have a ton of new games. I’m looking forward to it.

So for the people that are not familiar, you guys are really big internet sensations. How has life changed from going from social media stars to being on a highly successful weekly skit show?

Tim DeLaGhetto- When I started doing Wild ‘N Out, more older black guys started recognizing me haha.. I would walk around New York and black guys would walk up to me and say “Hey you’re the Asian guy from Wild ‘N Out”? I always reply with the same answer, “Yea, i’m the token Asian from the show” haha.

King Bach: Kind of the same thing for me also, well not the Asian part haha. When I started doing Wild ‘N Out and people started coming up to me, it caught me by surprise.

So you guys along with your co-star Emmanuel Hudson, are examples of personalities who made the jump from social media to the TV screen. Do you feel that in today’s world, the social media platform is more effective than grinding it out doing stand-up shows?

Tim DeLaGhetto- I definitely feel like this is going to be your best bet. Everybody is looking at their phones, searching on Vine and other social media outlets for entertainment. Look at it like this, you may do a bunch of stand-up shows, but I can do a show online and someone in Saudi Arabia could instantly watch my show. It would take me forever to do that if I did stand-up. I feel like it’s definitely the new hustle and the quickest way to getting your name out there.

For the aspiring comedians reading this interview, can you guys give us some tips as to the “do’s” and “don’ts”of using social media as a platform to get your jokes out to the public?

Tim DeLaGhetto: Well, i’ll start with the “do’s” first. Talk about trends that are going on.

King Bach: Always talk about things that are relatable and hot topics. Now for the things you don’t want to talk about, don’t touch the subject of homosexuals, do not touch the subject of religion or politics. Oh, also don’t talk about my momma haha..

Tim DeLaGhetto: If you want to reach a broader audience, you might not want to speak on the real touchy subjects.

Tim DeLaGhetto: Another key thing that I and Bach did in the past that really helped us out was consistently. These kids have a real short attention span. They want to be entertained daily and if you do not put anything out, your fan will call you out for it. So always remember to stay consistent in your work.

So lets dive into this upcoming season. Last season, you guys had a bunch of different guests from Skylar Diggins to Austin Mahone. Who are some guests that the fans can look forward to seeing on the tube come this season?

Tim DeLaGhetto: We have some pretty good episodes, like we had Peter Gunz make an appearance. That one was really funny because everybody was really going at him because of his Love And Hip Hop situation. We also had Jim Jones make appearance so that was cool. We have a lot to be honest with you, everybody is really going to have to tune in and watch.

So out of all the guests this past season, who really surprised you guys and actually turned out to be pretty funny?

King Bach: King Bach haha

Tim DeLaGhetto: Yeah, that surprised me too. I thought he was going to be wack hahaha…

Tim DeLaGhetto: But honestly, I would have to say Jim Jones. You wouldn’t expect him to be as silly as he is because he’s a rapper.

Now for the readers, can you guys reveal exactly how much of the skits and games on the show is rehearsed or made up on the spot?

Tim DeLaGhetto: Everything is on the spot, unedited, untamed and undressed. I mean you never know when a ti**y may pop out haha. Now you know, it looks a little rehearsed because we play these games a lot. You have to know how to play the game so we may say a joke and actually see how we can use that when we go on-air. But like I said earlier, everything we do is off the top. You can really see during our “Wildstyle” somebody coming back with comeback.

Now if the Wildstyle was any indication for any of the cast members to pursue a record contract, who is somebody you think needs to put the mic down?

Tim DeLaGhetto: I think they fired all of them already haha.

King Bach: Hahaha

Tim DeLaGhetto: When all fails, got to attack the white people. So I would definitely not buy a rap album from Jacob hahah.

Now who among the cast has the best bars?

Tim DeLaGhetto: I would have to say I had some hitters this past season. Anybody coming after me during the Wildstyle should definitely be scared a bit. Its easy when you’re the only Asian on the team, i’m ready for the dog and Chinese food jokes haha.  Conceited is good and white girl Lauren is good. Alot of people are scared of her.

So for the aspiring comedians out there, what is some advice you guys can give?

King Bach: Be funny, do better haha..No but seriously, talk about the relevant stuff that are relatable and present.

Tim DeLaGhetto: Honestly, you have to put in the work. I feel like me and Bach are some of the most hardworking guys coming out of social media. There will be a lot of people who do this and won’t get a million hits on Youtube and get frustrated not realizing how much harder you have to work.

Agreed. So for our last question, what are some of the music you guys are listening too?

Tim DeLaGhetto: I’m listening to YG, Kendrick Lamar, G-Eazy and Jhene Aiko when I feel like just relaxing.

Got to ask you guys, if there was one artist you can bring on the show who would it be?

Tim DeLaGhetto: Tupac haha

Living, Tim haha

Tim DeLaGhetto: Tupac

King Bach: Still making music

Tim DeLaGhetto: Tupac again, he just put out something last week haha

Tim DeLaGhetto: Honestly, I would want to see what Kendrick Lamar could do. Like if you listen to his raps it’s like he’s a character.

King Bach: Yea, he seems kind of fun

King Bach: Also, I think J.Cole would be dope. He’s someone that can spit but also doesn’t take himself way too seriously.
