R&B singer Usher and his longtime girlfriend are finally making it official.
The 36-year-old “Climax” singer and his business partner Grace Miguel are engaged, sources confirmed to Us Weekly.
“She’s happy but they’re trying to keep it quiet,” the insider told Us Weekly.
Usher and Grace began dating in 2009 shortly after Usher’s split from ex-wife Tameka Foster (2007 to 2009).
They were both battling for custody over their children, Naviyd Ely and Usher Raymond V. In the end, Usher was granted primary custody of his sons.
Just recently, Usher started opening up about his longtime love. “I have an incredible partner and manager,” he said in an interview with Billboard magazine in October 2014.
She has helped me through some of the hardest times in my life and my career. She’s someone who’s been able to support and understand all of who I am. Not just as a dancer or as a performer or as a singer, but as a humanitarian and a business man and as a person.”
