The Art of Elysium’s 8th Annual black-tie “Heaven” Charity Gala held at Hanger 8.
Despite the heavy downpour the event still brought out a high-fashion A-list of celebrity supporters and volunteers who came together to celebrate those who shared a passion to achieve the extraordinary within the fine arts. The evening was hosted by Marina Abramović and honored Amber Heard. Other notables in attendance included James Franco, Usher, Johnny Depp, Joaquin Phoenix, Laura Prepon, Topher Grace, Michelle Trachtenberg, Cara Delevingne, Gus Van Sant, Paz Vega, Moby, Jena Malone, Zach Braff and Elijah Wood.
Guests were split into two groups of “Light” and “Dark” and were each treated to a live installation hosted by Marina Abramović in which stages of a couple in love were presented ending with an uplifting message of happiness in loneliness as well as a music performance by Moby on a rotating platform. Each group spent a majority of time in the cocktail area enjoying the specialty cocktail favorites of the night, Grey Goose Le Fizz and Grey Goose Le Melon Melon Mule, and passed hors d’oeuvres.
On the other side of town in Los Angeles, Grey Goose celebrated top management company Anonymous Content and the agency’s Golden Globe nominees. Guests including actors Emmy Rossum, Sarah Hyland, Eric Stonestreet, Brit Marling, Joshua Jackson, Diane Kruger, Omar Epps and Clive Owen joined industry veterans Steve Golin (CEO of Anonymous Content), film producer Rob Weiss (Entourage),Screenwriters David Frigerio (The Signal), director Marc Webb (The Amazing Spider-man), TV personality Dave Karger (Weekend Ticket), producerAndrea Sperling (Transparent) and Producer Teddy Schwarzman (The Imitation Game) to celebrate those who have achieved the extraordinary within the film industry.
